Erasmus+ Study grant
Students of all tracks except Wind Physics can apply at TU Delft for an Erasmus+ Study scholarship (unless they have received an EU scholarship before), which finances part of the months spent outside of the TU Delft. With this grant you are entitled to receive an amount of approx. EUR 200,- per month for a mobility period of a minimum of 90 days outside the Netherlands.
All concerned students will be informed about this possibility and its conditions in due course through the EWEM-coordinator before the beginning of the 1st and the 3rd semester.
Wind Physics students should contact DTU and the University of Oldenburg to see whether this possibility can be offered through them.
Erasmus+ Loan Offer
Up to €18,000 for a two-year Master’s that can cover both living and tuition costs in any of the 33 Erasmus+ programme countries.
Higher education students who have been accepted for a full Master’s study programme in a country other than where they obtained the qualification granting access to that Master and other than where they reside can apply for a loan to contribute to their costs.
Conditions to be eligible to apply for a student loan backed by the Erasmus+ Master Loan Scheme:
- resident of the EU member states;
- completed first cycle higher education studies (Bachelor’s or equivalent) and accepted for a 2nd cycle programme (Master’s or equivalent) at a Higher Education Institution which holds the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education;
- your country of residence is different from the country where you intend to take your Master’s degree;
- the country where you intend to study is also different from the country where you obtained your Bachelor’s degree;
- the Master’s (or equivalent) is a full programme that will lead to a degree.

Specific scholarships concerning sustainability
The Global Sustainable Electricity Partnership is a non-profit organization of leading electricity companies driving sustainable energy development worldwide. One of the flagship programs is a scholarship supporting exceptional master’s students from developing countries studying in sustainable energy development.
Today, the need for globally-oriented practitioners and researchers is growing rapidly. The one-of-a-kind scholarship program fosters the next generation of energy and electricity sector specialists who will be prepared to tackle the challenges of the future.
Each scholarship has a value of up to $23,000 US per year (for a maximum of two years) and is tenable at any university in the world. The amount of the award varies on a case-by-case basis. Applications will open on January 15, 2018 and close on March 9, 2018. Eligible applicants must be full-time master’s students for at least one full school year, beginning in autumn 2018.
