Important note for applicants 2017-2019:

Update February 2017:

Please note that our current Erasmus Mundus contract with Brussels ends with this 2016-2018 cohort. The EWEM consortium will not apply for the prolongation of the EM title in 2017. We are working on several new scholarship initiatives, but these will not be sorted out by the opening of registrations.

Important note: the information below only applies to the applicants of cohort 2016-2018.

The Erasmus+: Erasmus Mundus Master Courses (EMMC), which sponsors the EWEM programme, offers scholarships for students. Please also visit the Erasmus Mundus website for detailed regulations of eligibility and frequently asked questions.

There are two types of student scholarships

Erasmus+ Programme Country students:

Erasmus+ Programme Country students are from the 28 EU Member States and also include Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey and The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. Students whose nationality is one of the Erasmus+ Programme Countries count as Programme Country students.

Erasmus+ Partner Country students are from any other country, provided they are not currently residents of the eligible countries (above), nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc.) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in one of these countries.
