Thirteen students of the international master program European Wind Energy Master (EWEM) visited ForWind and learned about current research in the field of wind energy and the Oldenburg wind tunnel.EWEM students can specialize in areas of Wind Physics, Rotor Design, Electric Power Systems, and Offshore Engineering. The consortium operating EWEM is composed of four universities: the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (UOL) with ForWind, the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) which is the coordinator of the program. The visit is part of the annual multiple day excursion of the study association Aeolus.
